Business Program Overview


Associate in Science in Business Administration - 60 credits/20 courses

The Business Administration A.S. degree provides introductory knowledge and skills necessary for students seeking employment or advancement in a business career. The A.S. degree is a dual purpose degree; it also prepares students for transfer to a business program at a four-year state college or university. 


Technical Certificates  

Business Development & Entrepreneurship - 25 credits/9 courses

Coursework covers opportunity recognition, business planning, cash flow and financial management, market research, and how to understand accounting information. 

Business Management - 24 credits/8 courses

Emphasis is place on selected theories of management and decision-making and the knowledge and understanding necessary for managing people and functions.

Business Operations - 18 credits/6 courses

This program is also designed to provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in these areas who need to upgrade their skills at a higher level.

Business Specialist - 12 credits/4 courses 

This is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in a variety of business environments, or to provide supplemental training for person previously or currently employed in management and supervisory occupations.
