LSSC recognizes the value Dual Enrollment offers in providing strong academics aligned to post-secondary standards, increases to student engagement, and high school student exposure to adult expectations.  Dual enrolled students statistically have an increased positive attitude towards earning a post-secondary degree and have higher rates of success in that effort than those who are not. Benefits of this program include:

  • Graduate from high school
  • Build momentum towards completing a college degree
  • Enroll in college
  • Earn higher college grade point averages
  • Retain in college to the second year
  • Start college in a four year institution
