Just before 6:00 pm today, LSSC Campus Security was notified of a man in the Cooper Memorial Library exposing himself. The Campus Security officer attempted to remove the individual from the building; however, the man assaulted the officer and fled outside. Clermont Police responded, located, and arrested the individual, and the individual has been banned from all LSSC campuses.
All members of the LSSC community are reminded to be aware of their surroundings on campus and report all suspicious behaviors or circumstances to Campus Safety immediately.
This community alert, also known as a timely warning, is issued in accordance with the Clery Act to notify the campus community of certain crimes and aid in the prevention of similar crimes.
