Lake-Sumter State College is committed to its system of participatory governance, which provides all employees the opportunity to participate or have input in the development of the organization’s processes through committees and other forums.
LSSC has unions that represent faculty members in positions covered by a collective bargaining agreement (CBA). The CBA is a contract that lays out certain terms and conditions of employment for those employees.
The terms and conditions of a CBA apply to every employee eligible to join the union, regardless of whether or not that employee is a dues-paying member of the union.
