Our BAS in Leadership with a Project Management concentration equips you with the leadership skills and technical know-how to excel in multiple industries. Learn to navigate challenges, manage teams efficiently, and deliver projects on time and within budget. This program prepares you to become a sought-after leader who drives success across organizations.
- Project Manager: This is the most classic role for project management graduates. They oversee various project phases, manage budgets and resources, and ensure project completion.
- Construction Project Manager: In construction, they oversee building projects, manage contractors and subcontractors, and ensure adherence to schedules and safety regulations.
- IT Project Manager: They lead information technology projects, manage software development lifecycles, and ensure successful implementation of new technologies.
- Event Manager: They plan and execute events like conferences, festivals, or trade shows. This requires managing logistics, vendors, budgets, and attendee experience.
- Product Manager: They oversee the entire lifecycle of a product, from conception and development to launch and marketing. This requires collaboration across various teams.

- An Associate in Arts Degree (AA) or Associates in Sciences Degree (AS) with a minimum of 60 credit hours from any college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
All students in the BAS must complete the 30 hours of core courses and 30 hours in their chosen concentration. If you are pursuing an Advanced Technical Certificate, some credits may apply towards the BAS program. A grade of C or higher is required for passing all courses in the BAS program.
Our project management concentration equips you with the essentials. Based on the Project Management Institute’s PMBOK Guide, you’ll gain a solid understanding of industry best practices. The program then progresses to advanced topics, including project quality evaluation tools and techniques, and information systems management skills. The program culminates in a capstone course where you’ll apply your knowledge to a collaborative real-world project plan.
Location: This program will be offered with both on-campus and online course requirements. Additional experiences outside of the classroom could require travel.
