Students complete their AICE diploma while attending classes at Leesburg High School. Upon completion of their AICE diploma requirements in their 11th-grade year, students will apply to become early admissions and complete their Associate of Arts degree. Students will participate in summits at the college campus and participate in PERT preparation to meet the PERT entry requirements.
Students take AICE courses in their first 3 years of high school, and the final year dual enrolled at LSSC.
Students earning their AA degree can continue with one of Lake Sumter’s Associate of Science programs or Bachelor degree programs. Earning their AA degree qualifies for DirectConnect to UCF® or applies these credits to any Florida State College or University.
Complete the requirements for the AICE diploma, then complete the required LSSC to earn their AA degree.
