Yes. The Capstone course, which is the final practicum experience includes 30 clinical hours and the Community Health Nursing course includes 30 clinical hours.

The design of the clinical components of this program will allow students to self-schedule their clinical hours in their local communities.

120 total credits are needed to complete the BSN. The RN to BSN curriculum includes 30 hours of baccalaureate level nursing coursework. Depending when and where the student completed the pre-licensure nursing program, most or all of the coursework will articulate to the RN-BSN Program.

Some students may need additional general education credits in order to complete the RN-BSN program and should see an academic advisor as soon as possible for a general education assessment.

Our tuition is one of the lowest of all colleges and universities in the state. The cost of tuition and textbooks for the RN-BSN core courses and electives (30 credits) is less than $4,500.

Tuition is billed per credit hour. Current rates are available at lssc.edu/current-students/student-payment/tuition-fees/. This does not include additional institutional fees or the cost of textbooks.

YES!  The RN to BSN program is accredited by ACEN. ACEN is the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. ACEN accreditation is a voluntary peer-review process intended to enhance quality improvement in nursing education.
