Here’s what you need to do to start your baccalaureate studies here at Lake-Sumter State College.

1. First Steps – BAS-SL

Apply for admission
Complete the online application here.

Send us your transcripts
After finishing the online application, you must submit your official, unopened high school and college transcripts with your graduation dates posted to the Admissions and Records Office address:

Get financial aid
If you haven’t applied for financial aid yet, but are interested, then do so as soon as possible. Learn more.

2. After You’ve Been Accepted – BAS-SL

Send us your Florida Residency Affidavit
Proving your Florida residency status ensures you do not have to pay out-of-state residency fees on your tuition. The form should be completed and sent to the Admissions and Records Office. You will need your student XID (found in your acceptance letter).

Activate your student email account
Your student email account is how we communicate with you and provide you with important information that you need to know about.

Meet with your advisor
You will need to meet with the baccalaureate advisor in order to set an on-target graduation schedule.

3. What’s Next? – BAS-SL

Register for classes
After you complete your orientation, you can register for classes online.

Pay for your tuition fees
Log in to myLSSC to review any outstanding fees that you need to pay. Be sure to pay before the first fee payment deadline from when you register for classes. Learn more.
