Lakehawks’ Harvest Food Pantry at Lake-Sumter State College, in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and Lake Cares, is a resource available to all currently enrolled students who may be facing food insecurity. Who can access Lakehawks’ Harvest Food Pantry?

Students must be currently enrolled at LSSC.

When can students access Lakehawks’ Harvest Food Pantry?

Mondays 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Tuesdays 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Thursday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm 

Students are limited to 8 items per day. Students can visit all days.

Where is Lakehawks’ Harvest Food Pantry located?

On the Leesburg Campus in the Student Center
(building #9, Room 111).

What to expect when visiting Lakehawks’ Harvest Food Pantry?

Our space is welcoming for all LSSC students and it will feel much like a grocery shopping experience. Students can access Lakehawks’ Harvest Food Pantry once per day during operating hours and select up to eight items each day.

Lake Cares is an independent community food pantry governed by a Board of Directors comprised of representatives from local businesses and residents who care about our mission. We provide food and other necessary services directly to the people who need assistance in Lake County, Florida.
