LSSC Perks

Robust Insurance Coverage
Lake-Sumter State College pays 100% of the premiums for medical, dental, vision, life and accidental death and dismemberment insurances for the employee. Dependent coverage, including domestic partners, is available with additional premiums.

Generous Leave Time
Full-time employees earn sick, vacation, and personal leave, in addition to receiving a paid Spring Break (one week) and Winter Break (two weeks).

Professional Development Possibilities
LSSC offers a wide variety of professional development opportunities through our Lakehawk Leadership Academy and in partnership with LinkedIn Learning. Employees can also apply for financial support to attend professional conferences and seminars.

Tuition Waiver
Employees, their spouse/domestic partner, or their dependent children are eligible to take up to two classes each semester at no cost.
