The Annual Gala Auction is our premier fundraising event of the year. Business and civic leaders from Lake and Sumter Counties come together to help support the mission and work of the LSSC Foundation.

These annual seminars provide an educational opportunity for professionals to receive Continuing Education credit while giving us the opportunity to show you our appreciation for your professional support.

The Annual Distinguished Alumni & Hall of Fame Awards banquet honors LSSC alumni and faculty/staff for their impactful contributions to the community and the advancement of LSSC.

Lake-Sumter State College, home of the Lakehawks, offers a robust and expanding selection of intercollegiate athletics – including women’s volleyball, softball, men’s baseball, and men’s and women’s cross country.

The Monster Dash is a family-friendly race that runs around Silver Lake behind the Leesburg Campus. The race is timed with prizes awarded at the end for top runners. Costumes are encouraged!

The LSSC Shamrock Shuffle is our annual St. Patrick’s Day 5K/10K. The family-friendly race course begins on the Lake-Sumter State College South Lake campus, includes the challenge of the South Lake Trail via the Hancock Extension, and ends on the Lake-Sumter campus.

The Performing Arts Series is an enduring legacy that started over 30 years ago with Lake County resident and avid arts supporter George O. Pringle. Mr. Pringle was a supporter of the Lake-Sumter State College Foundation and was one of the founders in 1997 of the Performing Arts Series.  

The Annual Scholarship Dinner is an opportunity for scholarship recipients to meet & share a meal with Foundation donors who support Scholarship programs at Lake-Sumter State College.
