LSSC is continuing to monitor Hurricane Irma and coordinate with state and local governments. All LSSC campuses will be open tomorrow and classes will be in session. The College will announce a decision about any closures by noon tomorrow. This announcement will be shared by LSSC Alert, email and social media.
Please remember to sign up to receive emergency notifications from County Emergency Management officials. These notification services will provide emergency updates regarding Hurricane Irma and other significant events that may impact you. LSSC will only issue alerts relating to College operations. The College also urges you to begin preparing for Hurricane Irma. You can the Hurricane Preparedness Brochure from Lake County to make sure that you have your disaster kit stocked (checklist provided).
