In anticipation of possible impacts from Tropical Storm Elsa, Lake-Sumter State College will close all campus locations and operate virtually on Wednesday, July 7. This update will be sent through the LSSC Alert system, email, and social media.
Courses may meet remotely. Students should check for course specific instructions from their instructors through Lakehawk email or Canvas.
All employees should coordinate with their supervisor to work remotely.
LSSC Kids’ College will be closed on Wednesday, July 7.
Cooper Memorial Library on the South Lake Campus will close at 5:00pm today and remain closed tomorrow.
Please note that during this time there will be no access to any facilities on LSSC campuses. For your safety and others, do not attempt to visit any LSSC campus during this closure.
