LSSC to close at 2pm on Jan. 9 due to forecast severe weather
 

In anticipation of severe weather forecast for our area, Lake-Sumter State College will close all campus locations and cancel all classes, sports, and activities beginning at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 9.  Any classes scheduled to occur later than 2:00 pm will be cancelled. Students, please look for additional information from your course instructor.

The College will plan to reopen on Wednesday, January 10. If additional updates are necessary, they will be sent through the LSSC Alert system, email, and social media. 

Students with questions related to enrollment, course registration, fee payment and other issues can contact the Enrollment Service Center by email at ESC@lssc.edu for assistance during the closure.

Please note that during this time there will be no access to any facilities on LSSC campuses. For your safety and others, do not attempt to visit any LSSC campus during this closure.
