- An Associate in Arts Degree (AA) or Associates in Sciences Degree (AS) with a minimum of 60 credit hours from any college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
All students in the BAS must complete the 30 hours of core courses and 30 hours in their chosen concentration. If you are pursuing an Advanced Technical Certificate, some credits may apply towards the BAS program. A grade of C or higher is required for passing all courses in the BAS program.
This concentration is for those interested in pursuing leadership positions in any health-related organization or business. This includes health-specific leadership and management; revenue-cycle management; risk management; and Quality and Performance Improvement.
You may also be interested in pursuing the Advanced Technical Certificate (ATC) for Health Services Administration. The required courses for the ATC will count towards your BAS-L degree in the HSA concentration.
Location: This program will be offered with both on-campus and online course requirements. Additional experiences outside of the classroom could require travel.
