The Advanced Technical Certificate (ATC) in Criminal Justice Leadership is designed for students who have completed an associate degree and are pursuing a bachelor’s degree. This program equips students with the skills needed to advance into supervisory roles or further their careers in the human resource field. This certificate is upward compatible with the BAS in Leadership Criminal Justice Leadership Concentration.

Overview

The Criminal Justice Leadership Advanced Technical Certificate (ATC) teaches the student skills that are needed to move into supervisory roles or to advance their career in the human resource field. This certificate is upward compatible with the BAS in Leadership Criminal Justice Leadership Concentration.

Program Highlights

The Human Resources concentration may be for you, if you are interested in:

  • Understanding the importance of talent management in an organization.
  • Facilitating positive working environments and problem-solving.
  • Managing compensation, including benefits, for employees or an organization.
  • Developing extensive training and development plans for employees and organizations.
  • Flexible Learning Options: Courses are offered in-person and online.

Program Length

The program consists of 60 credit hours and can be completed in two years when attending full-time.

Program Cost

Tuition costs for programs and courses at the bachelor’s degree level are $109.73 per credit hour. Additional costs will include textbooks, materials, and course fees.

Florida’s population growth and public safety needs are driving demand for skilled law enforcement professionals. The state’s Department of Economic Opportunity projects a 4.9% growth in Law Enforcement Workers from 2021 to 2030.
