Planning an Event or Meeting
Fill out the completed information request form to the Events Department.
- For small events or meetings with fewer than 100 attendees, please submit your request form at least 30 days prior to your preferred event or meeting date.
- For large events or meetings with more than 100 attendees, please submit your request form at least 45 days prior to your preferred event or meeting date.
Located within the Cooper Memorial Library on Lake-Sumter State College’s South Lake Campus, Conference Room 108 is a flexible event and meeting space designed to accommodate a variety of educational, professional, and community activities. The room is well suited for meetings, orientations, workforce training sessions, workshops, presentations, and larger group gatherings.
The Everett A. Kelly Convocation Center is a multi-purpose event and athletic venue located on Lake-Sumter State College’s Leesburg Campus. It serves as the home court for the Lakehawks NJCAA volleyball program and is one of the college’s primary gathering spaces for athletic competitions, ceremonies, and community events.
The Magnolia Room, a versatile banquet and conference facility designed to support both college and community events, it serves as a professional venue for meetings, training sessions, luncheons, receptions, and special occasions.

The BASL Speaker Series at Lake-Sumter State College is designed to bring renowned professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, and community leaders face-to-face with our students.
The Lineworker showcases the knowledge, technical skills, and safety practices that students have developed throughout their training.
This special event highlights standout athletic performances, academic success, leadership, and sportsmanship throughout the year. Awards are presented across a variety of categories, celebrating individual achievements as well as team accomplishments that embody the spirit and values of Lakehawk Athletics.
