The Specialized Associate in Arts Transfer (SAAT) degree in Biology prepares students for transfer as juniors to the Bachelor of Science in Biology degree program at the University of Central Florida. This SAAT degree provides direct admission to the University of Central Florida and to the Biology major. Students are required to meet all requirements listed in the relevant Articulation Agreement in order to complete this degree.

The Specialized Associate in Arts Transfer (SAAT) degree in Biology provides an education, with courses focused in five key areas: communications, humanities, mathematics, science and social science; with an emphasis on Biology bachelor program prerequisites.

The program allows students to study general biology or choose from five specialized tracks, with elective options in areas such as molecular biology, conservation biology, and marine biology, guided by a faculty advisor.
