The Criminal Justice Leadership College Credit Certificate (CCC) is integrated into the Associate in Science in Criminal Justice program, offering specialized coursework to prepare students for leadership roles within the criminal justice field. Students who have completed the Basic Corrections or Basic Police Recruit Training at any FDLE/CJSTC-approved training center and hold current state criminal justice certification may be eligible to receive college credit. This certificate serves as a pathway to advanced studies and career advancement in corrections, law enforcement, and public safety sectors.

The Criminal Justice Leadership College Certificate is part of the A.S. in Criminal Justice Degree.
Students entering this program who have completed the Basic Corrections Training or the Basic Corrections Training or the Basic Police Recruit Training at any FDLE/CJSTC approved training center and hold current state criminal justice certification may request that LSSC grant college credit.

- Career Advancement: Completing the AS in Criminal Justice can result in an increased salary for individuals currently working in law enforcement or corrections in Florida.
- Local Partnerships: Mt. Dora High School, Early College Criminal Justice Academy, and Lake Technical College.

Program Cost
Tuition costs for programs and courses at the associate’s degree level are $109.73 per credit hour. Additional costs will include textbooks, materials, and course fees.
