Regalia
Caps and gowns are now available for purchase at Graduation Source.
Check your Lakehawk email address for additional commencement details.
- Baccalaureate Graduates: Must wear a green cap and gown.
- Associate and Certificate Graduates: Must wear a black cap and gown.
- Purchase Deadline: Monday, April 20, 202, at 11:59 p.m.
- Expedited Shipping Begins: Monday, April 13th – Monday, April 20th
- A limited number of loaner regalia are available for students with financial need in the Office of the Registrar. Please complete the Graduation Regalia Request if you need loaner regalia.
- Students are permitted to decorate their mortarboards as long as the designs are appropriate and in good taste. The LSSC team reserves the right to request adjustments to any decorations deemed offensive or distracting prior to the ceremony.
Honors
An honor cord will be provided to students with an earned Cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher by December 2025 at the commencement ceremony check-in.

Guest Tickets
Guest ticket reservation and pick-up information will be sent to your Lakehawk email when available.
Due to limited space and tickets, guests who are unable to attend in person may livestream the ceremony via the links above or on Facebook or YouTube.
Photographs
Professional photographers will capture photographs of each graduate on the stage. A free color proof and order forms will be mailed to graduates 3 weeks after the ceremony.
There will be lots of photo opportunities for graduates to take pictures with their family and friends before and after the ceremony.
Degree Conferral & Diploma Process
Degree conferral may take up to 2 weeks to process after final grades post. Physical diplomas are mailed to candidates approximately 3-4 weeks after degrees have been awarded. Digital diplomas are emailed to candidates after they are processed in the Office of the Registrar.
To prevent delays with your degree conferral and/or diploma being mailed, ensure to complete the following:
- All degree requirements must be satisfied.
- A note will be sent via DegreeWorks reflecting outstanding requirements.
- Clear any institutional account balances on your student account.
- Check your myLSSC account for holds.
- Update your current mailing address on your myLSSC account under the Personal Information link.
