The Office of Career Development at Lake-Sumter State College empowers students to achieve career success by providing comprehensive resources and tools. We offer career advising, exploration assistance, and guidance on major selection and degree pathways. Students can also benefit from help with resume and cover letter writing, interview skills, networking, job search strategies, and internship opportunities. Ultimately, the office connects students with employers and prepares them for the demands of the modern workplace.

These opportunities, which can be full internships or embedded micro-internships within existing courses, provide students with supervised work experience, self-reflection, and the chance to apply their academic knowledge.
