Empower Your Future: Discover our Early Admission Program
Early Admission is a specialized dual enrollment option for high-achieving high school students. This program allows eligible students to complete their first full year of college one year early while enjoying the full Lakehawk experience. Participants take a full-time college course load of 12–18 credit hours and gain access to campus resources, student activities, and academic support—just like any other LSSC student.

Program Detail and Curriculum
- Start the freshman year of college a full year early
- Take classes in-person or online
- Dedicated college advisors to provide program guidance

Eligibility Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a school within Lake or Sumter County
- Entering grade 12 in High School
- 3.0 unweighted high school GPA
- 3.0 college GPA
- Completion of at least three (3) dual enrollment classes at time of application
- Early Admission only enrolls for Fall Semester
- Cambridge AICE Diploma accepted for EA eligibility
- Student must maintain a minimum of 12 credit hours during their entire time as an Early Admission student and are encouraged to participate in extracurricular LSSC activities as a full time LSSC Student

Students graduating from high school and enrolling at LSSC may qualify for other scholarships offered through the State of Florida. You will be notified of your eligibility after you apply to the College.
