About LSSC Esports

Founded in 2024, Lake Sumter State College has outfitted our own esports lab with 12 professional grade PC gaming stations, two console areas with TV’s and consoles, and a smart TV area for reviewing gameplay and livestreaming events! We are registered with and compete in the NJCAA against other 2-year colleges across the country. At LSSC, you can try out for our competitive teams in a variety of titles or are welcome to join our free esports organization and club on campus. We host free-to play competitions with skill levels ranging from beginner to expert, and encourage all interested players to apply for and tryout for specific game titles on our Varsity team. These Varsity players are student athletes will receive custom LSSC esports jerseys and compete on a bi-semester schedule in the NJCAAE for trophies and glory!

Valorant, League of Legends, Fortnite, Marvel Rivals, Tekken, SSBU, Mario Kart, CoD, Rocket League and many more!

Fall 2025 Varsity Teams to Tryout For

Marvel Rivals, Tekken, Mario Kart, and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. With interest, we will host 1-2 additional game titles to be announced at a future date.
