Dual Enrollment Textbooks
Textbook approval process
Once your Dual Enrollment classes have been approved by your High School Counselor and the LSSC staff you will receive an email directing you to pick up your textbooks.
Changes to your schedule
If you decide to make a change to your schedule, you are required to do so via your myLSSC account and repeat the process by visiting your HS counselor and getting your courses approved electronically by the posted fee payment deadline. Once your new class is approved by your HS counselor and LSSC, you will receive a new email notifying you that your textbooks are ready to be picked up.
The following is an outline of the pick-up process based on which category of Dual Enrollment you are in:
Lake County Public Schools
- Review all information on how to pick-up your textbooks at the Lake County Schools Office Dual Enrollment Webpage
- Access your course materials list for each class and bring a printed or digital copy to Lake County Schools Office
- Only students with vouchers from Lake County Schools Office can pick up selected course materials/textbooks from the Lake Sumter State College Bookstore

HSCA
Students will be given their textbook at orientation in the fall. Students will receive their spring textbooks when they return their fall textbooks. Please reach out to the HSCA staff if you have questions.
Home Education
LSSC will provide instructional materials for Lake and Sumter County Dual Enrollment home education students at the Leesburg Bookstore. Students will receive information regarding instructional material pick-up in the weeks prior to the beginning of each semester. Please watch your Lakehawk email for further instructions.
Private School
Private School Students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks. We encourage students to use the Lake-Sumter State College Bookstore.
Villages Charter High School
Fall and Spring semesters – students will receive their textbooks from their instructors once classes start.
Summer – students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks for summer classes.
