Original Announcement: Oct. 29 at 4:45 pm

Due to a failed building transformer, the Science-Health Partnership Building on the South Lake Campus is experiencing a partial power outage on the first floor. Classrooms on the east side of the building (toward Lot A) do not have electrical power to outlets, etc. Technicians are already on-site, but we do not yet have an estimated time for repairs to be completed.

We are working with instructors to relocate any impacted classes. Students should expect to receive communications from their instructors regarding any location changes.

In addition, the elevator in the Science-Health Building is not functioning. This outage may create accessibility issues for those who have classes on the 2nd floor. If you need additional assistance while repairs are being completed, please contact Alicia Hall at (352) 365-3574 or HallAL@lssc.edu.

Additional information will be posted here and communicated by email.
