The College Credit Certificate (CCC) in Chemical Laboratory Specialist provides students with exposure to chemistry, mathematics, biological sciences, and/or physics necessary for success in a scientific lab setting. The content includes but is not limited to the development of chemical and other scientific skills.
The program completer will be able to assist chemists, biochemists, and chemical engineers by performing chemical, biological and physical laboratory tests for various purposes such as quality control monitoring of ongoing production operations, research and development, and the maintenance of health and safety standards in the laboratory.
The certificate is a pathway to health and STEM degree programs, with courses applicable to the Associate in Arts Degree. The program is offered through in-person and online courses.
