Popularly known as “Swoop” — Swoop the Lakehawk is the official mascot of Lake-Sumter State College. LSSC has been the Lakehawks since 2012, and recently welcomed its latest ambassador in 2019. Catch Swoop on campus during events, or even “on the fly,” spreading school spirit!
