An official transcript from each college or university that an applicant previously attended (including dual-enrollment) is required in addition to the LSSC application, as is a final, official high school or GED transcript. It is the applicant’s responsibility to make arrangements for LSSC to receive all official documents.

Any official transcripts sent via email to LSSC should be sent to registrar@lssc.edu by the sending institution.

Sending Transcripts to LSSC

High School Transcripts

Official high school transcripts must be sent from the high school or school district. Many Florida high schools can send official transcripts to LSSC electronically through a statewide system.

If official transcripts need to be mailed to Lake-Sumter State College, they should be addressed to:
Lake-Sumter State College
Attn: Transcripts
9501 U.S. Highway 441
Leesburg, FL 34788

GED Transcripts

Applicants with general equivalency diplomas (GEDs) who took the GED in the state of Florida may order their official GED transcript from the Florida Department of Education Testing Office by calling (850) 352-4331.

Students who earned a GED in another state must contact that state’s department of education to coordinate the sending of the official GED transcript.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Transcripts

LSSC applicants who have participated in an IB Diploma program may order their official IB transcript from the IB website.

International Transcripts

International transcripts must be evaluated through a third-party, international education evaluation agency. LSSC recommends either of these agencies:

Military Transcripts

Each military service branch has developed methods for documenting military training.

The Army, Coast Guard, Marines and Navy use the Joint Services Transcript (JST) for documenting military training. To obtain your military transcript from any of these branches, visit the JST page for instructions.

The Air Force uses the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) transcript for documenting all college credit-worthy training received. Because the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) regionally accredits CCAF, the LSSC Admissions and Records Office will evaluate the transcript just like it would any other transcript.

Sending Outside Test Scores to LSSC

Official test scores are required in addition to the LSSC application. It is the applicant’s responsibility to make arrangements for LSSC to receive all official documents.

Advanced Placement (AP) Scores

LSSC applicants with AP credit may order their official AP scores via the College Board website.

American Collegiate Testing (ACT) Scores

LSSC applicants who have taken the ACT exam may order their official ACT score report via the ACT website.

Cambridge International Exams (CIE)

LSSC applicants who have participated in CIE may order their official CIE scores via Cambridge International Exams.

College-Level Examination Program (CLEP)

LSSC applicants with CLEP credit may order their official CLEP score report via the College Board.

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) Scores

LSSC applicants who have taken the SAT may order their official SAT score report via the College Board website.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Scores (International Students Only)

LSSC International applicants are required to submit acceptable official TOEFL scores if English is not the applicant’s native language.
