With high demand in our regional workforce, the CDL training program offers students the ability to earn their Class A and B licenses.

Classes start every Monday. Students in the CDL program will complete a 3 week-long intensive program(students may sign up for a four-week course option if they’d like) which includes air brake and driver training, preparing for careers in heavy and tractor-trailer trucking. However, additional training may be required for over-the-road trucking positions.

At the completion of the program, students will take the State of Florida Commercial Motor Vehicle knowledge and skills test approved by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.

LSSC’s CDL program is developed alongside regional employers, who have a strong interest in hiring students who complete the program. Our Central Florida area is a great location for CDL drivers due to the distribution network for national and regional warehouses.
