New Student Advising & Registration Session

All first time in college and dual enrollment students are required to complete a New Student Advising & Registration session prior to registering for classes. Transfer students are encouraged, but not required, to complete a session.

Be sure to submit your official high school transcript or a copy of your GED to Admissions as soon as possible. These documents contain information that is vital in helping your academic advisor help you plan your first semester class schedule.

You are able to register for a New Student Advising & Registration session once you have been accepted to LSSC and know your LSSC Student X-ID.

Register for a Session

All New Student Advising & Registration sessions will be facilitated in an online environment. You will receive an email message 24 hours prior to the start of your online session with important documents and a link to the session.

When registering, please:

  • Enter your Student ID number (X-ID) in the following format: X00_ _ _ _ _ _
  • Select a session that is appropriate for your student type: Dual Enrollment or First Time in College
  • If you receive an error after clicking the link, try clearing your cache or using a different browser
  • If you receive an login error message, make sure that you have chosen the semester that matches your entry term on your admissions application.

Fall Sessions

These sessions are for students who have been accepted to and plan to start classes for the Fall 2023 semester (August – December).
