Welcome back, Lakehawk! We’re glad that you are returning to us to continue your educational journey. Here’s what you need to do to be re-admitted into Lake-Sumter State College.
1. First Steps
Contact the Admissions Office
You will need to contact the Admissions Office in order to determine your re-entry status. The office will inform you of any necessary steps that you will need to take that are specific to your status.
Apply for admission
Once you have spoken to an Admissions officer, you will need to fill out a paper application for re-entry. The application can be submitted to any Admissions campus location.
Get financial aid
If you haven’t applied for financial aid yet then do so as soon as possible. Learn more.
2. After Successful Re-entry
Send us your Florida Residency Affidavit
Proving your Florida residency status ensures you do not have to pay out-of-state residency fees on your tuition. The form should be completed and sent to the Admissions and Records Office. You will need your student XID (found in your acceptance letter).
Check your student email account
Your student email account is how we communicate with you and provide you with important information that you need to know about.
3. What’s Next?
