First Time in College

You are a first time in college student if Lake-Sumter State College is the first college or university that you will attend.

Re-entry

Welcome back, Lakehawk! We’re glad that you are returning to us to continue your educational journey.

Dual Enrollment

You are a dual enrollment student if you are currently enrolled in high school and wish to complete courses for both high school and college credit.

Bachelor’s

You are a baccalaureate student if you have already earned an AA or AS degree and wish to earn a Bachelor degree.

Transfer

You are a transfer student if Lake-Sumter State College is not the first college or university that you will attend.

Veteran

You are a veteran student if you are currently serving or have served your country as active duty, a national guardsmen, and / or reservists and will be applying GI Bill credits to your education.

That’s why we provide a wide range of classes both online and in a hybrid format that has you half-seated and half-online for your convenience.
