The Building Construction Specialist College Credit Certificate (CCC) prepares students for careers in construction management through industry-aligned courses taught by experienced professionals. Offered in hybrid or online formats, the program can be completed in two semesters starting in fall or spring. Careers include Construction Project Manager, Manager, and Residential Contractor. This 18-credit certificate is stackable within the A.S. Building Construction Management degree and supported by local partnerships like Romac, TBG Consulting, and iBuild Central Florida.

The Building Construction Specialist College Credit Certificate offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the construction management field.

  • Local Partnerships: LakeWorks, K-12 Articulation, Romac, TBG Consulting, iBuild Central Florida, Habitat Central Florida, Associated Builders and Contractors – Central Florida Chapter.

Students graduating from high school and enrolling at LSSC may qualify for other scholarships offered through the State of Florida. You will be notified of your eligibility after you apply to the College.
